Biography
Nan is a PhD student under Dr. Nils Peters. His research focuses on sound field reconstruction using machine learning and physics-based methods.
He received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. in Fluid Mechanics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where his research focused on fluid noise generated by submarine propellers. He later received his M.Phil. in Music and Media Technologies from Trinity College Dublin, where he investigated interpolation methods for First-Order Ambisonics room impulse responses.
